Mettler-Toledo is known for precision instruments such as balances and scales. They also make other highly refined laboratory tools, and wanted to boost sales of this latter group. So was born the idea of pairing their new tools with their balances. Some things just go together.
Our direct mailer made comparisons to other famous pairs and contained a compelling offer - buy a titrator, get a balance free. In an arena normally weighed down by statistics and images of labs, the simple graphics and lighthearted charm of the mailer were a real breakthrough.
