An automotive adhesive that automotive mechanics don't know about? We were asked to take Valvoline's Pliogrip brand from the manufacturing world into collision body shops. And to do so, we needed to persuade knowledgeable mechanics that this product they didn't know about was important.
By positioning Pliogrip as a performance-driven product, and leveraging Valvoline's heritage and NASCAR affiliations, we gave instant credibility to a product that seemed new to the target. Product literature, POS materials and tradeshow graphics were among the elements that sealed the deal.
